Oakleigh is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located 14 kilometres south-east of the city’s central business district. The City of Monash is its local government area. Oakleigh, once a large independent city, was absorbed into Melbourne as part of the city’s eastward expansion in the 1950s.
